Ectomite Concentrate Natural, harmless and safe lice and mite repellent Pigeon Health has developed a specific formulation over the past 10 years known as Ectomite. Ectomite contains a blend of natural essential oils which work effectively at repelling lice and mites known as ectoparasites, that use pigeons as a source of nourishment and a host for reproduction. Constant irritation through chewing and bites to the skin and feathers causes restlessness, feather ruffling, skin irritation and in some cases irreversible feather and skin damage. Ectomite has been designed as a concentrate which can be added as a dip, bath wash or a spray. Repeat application of Ectomite formulation whenever lice or mites begin to reappear. Ectomite Concentrate 250ml £8.35, 500ml £13.50, 1 litre £21.75 Ectomite Cream 15g £7.50 – Iva Mite 15ml (225 drops) £9.60 Ectomite Concentration Dip Dip – Mix 250ml to 5 litres of luke warm water. Dip the pigeons by opening out both wings and tail. Immerse up to the neck in the diluted Ectomite for 30 seconds, rubbing Ectomite into the breast and crop feathers. Wash hands after dipping. Avoid eye contact. Spray – Add 50ml of concentrate to a 500ml spray bottle. Dilute with water. Sanitise the perches, nest boxes and any nooks and crevices. Bath – Mix 10ml to 10 litres of bath water.
