SportLYTE – Dehydration after strenuous exercise results in ion imbalances within a pigeons interstitial fluid. Replacing these ions is vital as constant equilibrium in electrolyte concentrations such as sodium and potassium is essential. SportLYTE is a sports powder drink specifically formulated for pigeons to help rehydrate and replace the electrically charged micro-mineral ions quickly and safely. SportLYTE can be also used to help replace salts lost during dehydration caused by diarrhoea, chronic vomiting or intestinal flu viruses.

Direction for use –
Race return, add SportLYTE at the rate of 10g (2 teaspoons) to 2 litres of luke warm drinking water. Leave in front of the pigeons for approx 12 hours.
For intestinal upsets, damp or wet droppings, diarrhoea or vomiting (to replace lost salts) add SportLYTE at the rate of 20g (4 teaspoons) to 2 litres of luke warm drinking water. Can be used with other products if required. If symptoms persist consult proper veterinary advice.
